The scene of the Opéra Royal de Monte-Carlo hosts tenor Juan Diego Florèz who interprets for the first time "Tales of Hoffmann".
For this long-awaited role-play, he is accompanied by the singer Olga Peretyatko, who combines all three female roles.
This production, stage directed by Jean-Louis Grinda, also director of the Opera, is performed by the Choir and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jacques Lacombe.

This three-act work, which has fallen into oblivion, is now coming back to life at the Opéra de Tours. An event that opens the year Gounod, for the bicentenary of the birth of the composer.
